Running one

/giveaway start with a prize and an end time. People enter with a button. When the timer runs out Bonki draws, announces the winners and DMs them. /giveaway reroll draws a replacement if someone never claims.

Requirements and bonus entries

You can require a role, a minimum level, a minimum account age or a minimum time in the server. Anyone who does not qualify is told which requirement they missed, rather than just being refused.

Bonus entries give a role extra tickets in the hat, three entries means three times as likely to win, but they can still only win once. A member in several bonus roles gets the highest, not the sum.

Worth knowing

Requirements are checked again at the draw. Someone who qualified on Monday and lost the role by Friday is skipped, and you are told how many were skipped.

Winners are drawn without replacement, so one person cannot take two of three prizes, and a reroll never redraws someone who has already won.
