Dynamic Voice
A channel members join to get their own voice room.
How it works
Make an empty voice channel, call it something like ➕ Join to create, and point a hub at it.
Someone joins it, Bonki makes them a room named after them and moves them straight into it. When the last person leaves, the room disappears. The hub itself is never deleted; it is the door, not a room.
This fixes the thing every server with voice has: either six permanent channels sit empty most of the week, or there are two and they are always full.
Naming
The room name uses {user} for the person who made it, so {user}'s Voice gives SnailReaper’s Voice. You can set a size limit per hub, and choose which category the rooms appear under.
Worth knowing
New rooms copy the hub’s permissions rather than the category’s, so a hub only staff can see produces rooms only staff can see.
The owner leaving does not end the call, the room lasts until it is empty.
Bonki needs Manage Channels and Move Members. Rooms left behind by a restart are cleaned up automatically shortly after it comes back.
