Creating a poll

/poll create with a question and comma-separated options, up to ten. Put \, if an option needs a literal comma. Start an option with an emoji and it becomes the button icon.

Choices you have

Multiple choice lets people pick more than one. Either way, clicking your own choice again takes the vote back.

Anonymous hides who voted for what; totals are always shown. On by default, because a visible vote in a server people work or play in is a different thing from a private one.

Live results can be turned off to hide the totals until the poll closes, which stops early votes steering later ones. Worth it for anything contested.
